IN THE SPOTLIGHT: ROUND IIII

WORKSHOP/BATTLE EVENT - SATURDAY, MAY 17TH, 2008
CHINO HILLS, CA

FREE CLASS

11AM: Mavyn Member, Matt Gutierrez, will be teaching a free hip hop workshop class to get the day started. Drinks will be provided, but make sure to eat your breakfast!!! Pizza Lunch will be sold later on in the day.

REGISTRATION

12AM - Registration will begin for the actual workshop at 12am. You will be required to sign waiver forms as well as the classes you will be taking through out the day.

GROUP DISCOUNTS!!!
If you have a minimum of at least 10 people in your group, all four workshop classes will only be $18 per person. Your group must register TOGETHER! So make sure to schedule an early call time to miss the last minute registration rush.

Cash, Debit, and Credit Cards will only be accepted. NO CHECKS PLEASE!!!

WORKSHOP CLASSES

1PM - Classes will begin promptly at 1pm starting with Mavyn's Jesse "Shotime" Trinidad & Unity's David Ross! Classes will continue throughout the next 4 hours in both studio spaces at Talent Factory. In order to attend the classes, you must be registered and signed up for that class. Each choreographer will be choosing Spotlight Dancers for a chance to shine at the end of the workshop.

* You may only receive this class for FREE if you pay the FULL DAY price of 4 CLASSES...$25.00! If you pay or take less then 4 classes, you must pay for the BONUS CLASS for the price of $12.00. The FULL DAY price is the way to go!!

Spotlight Dancers

5:00pm - Each choreographer of each class will choose up to four Spotlight Dancers who will perform that class piece at the end of the workshop. A video will be taken to broadcast on our website at www.mavyn.com just to see why they were chosen by the choreographer. All workshop attendees as well as early arrivals for the battle will be able to watch these performances.

Special Guest Performances

5:00PM - Dance teams and companies from our community will be performing a quick display of their talents to show our students all the opportunities that are out there. So here's your chance to see a sneak peak of what our community can offer for you.

BATTLE

6PM - A full on battle between individuals as well as crews will be given a chance to shine on the dance floor among many viewers and our communities finest freestylers as judges. An entrance fee is required if you did not attend the workshop earlier during the day.

Canned goods will be accepted for an incentive as a discount to attend the battle. If you have taken at least one class at the workshop, your admittance to the battle is free.
