Carlos Alcantara is a 23 year old Salvadorian from El Monte, California. Carlos was the first of his family to be born in the United States, and was raised with his parents and his younger brother. Carlos was the first in his nuclear family to graduate from high school, and the first of his entire family to be accepted to a four-year university. He attended the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where he received his bachelor degree in Human Development. Carlos recently earned his Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC) in May, and looks forward to begin his clinical work with high risk youth and families.

Carlos was not exposed to the notion of Hip Hop Dance until he attended UCSD. His second year at UCSD, Carlos became a member of Second to None (220), and stayed on the team for 3 years. In 2001, Carlos auditioned to be a member of Funkanometry and was a proud member of the company for 2 terms. Currently, Carlos is looking forward to this new entertainment company and feels privileged to be a part of this talented staff.
